Thunderbird - Addressbook with Birthdays

6 01 2008

I just found a great Thunderbird extension which enables additional fields to your contacts, such as birthday, etc.

Try it, it’s free. Unfortunately, it’s not available from the official Add-On-Site but here’s another source:

Death Proof

Wow! Tarantino! New Movie! Wow!

Wow…What a crap!!!

Sorry, I’ve been a Tarantino Fan for quiet a while but this movie is crap! I really dig the look of this flick: Grindhouse 70’s style with all the scratches and so forth. But this movie runs about 90 minutes and 80 minutes is just senseless gossip and talk. Imagine you and your buddys go out, have a drink and film it. What do you end up with? Right, nothing you would make a film of, right?

Unfortunately, nobody had told Tarantino so I can just guess that he thought “That’s a great idea!”.

Ok, now there are 10 minutes of interesting stuff. Mostly blood *hargh hargh* But actually that doesn’t make a good m

Alien versus Predator 2

6 01 2008

I “enjoyed” this “Classic” the day before yesterday and, what can I say, it was the most horrible movie I’ve seen.

Was there a story? No.
Were there character you can relate to? No.
Were there Special Effects? Well, yes. But unfortunately the picture was so dark you just can’t tell Alien from Predator from Human.

To me, the first AvP wasn’t that bad. At least not as bad as anybody would say it is. And to be quiet honest, the AvP2 trailer was promising. But what the hell went wrong???

I don’t know. All I know is that you just don’t care about the characters and at some point you wish them a nice and slow death.

What a waste of a great franchise!!!

They list over 1,000 films of a wide variety of genres.

Enjoy :)

ObjectDock.com

Hi there

Here’s another useful tool which I find pretty cool. Actually it imitates the Mac OS dock.

www.objectdock.com

It is Vista ready and works fine on my machine.

The beauty of it: You can have as many docks as you want and you can position them anywhere on your desktop. The basic version is FREE. The “Plus” edition will cost you around 20 USD and is worth it!

Check it out!

Lag Guitars

What a great-looking guitar! I think I’ve fallen in love with the cherry-red edition. This is the German site of Lag Guitars:

Lâg Guitars Arkane Flamed 200 AF 200

Original website:

However, it’s in French ;)

Ok guys, here’s a site with absolutely fabulous guitars! This company, actually a one-man-army, is based in German. He’s a very nice guy and tries to satisfy his customer’s needs and wishes. Take a look at the models and maybe drop him a line.

Great guitars! Signature model for Jeff Loomis (Nevermore). This guitar looks just like a dream and I’m seriously thinking about buying one. Actually, my mom would pay for it since it was her birthday present for me. Love her! :)
